According to the Delaware Medical Marijuana Act, patients with valid medical marijuana registry ID cards are allowed to replace their MMJ cards if required. A Delaware medical marijuana card may be replaced if lost, stolen, damaged, or in the event of a name or address change.
Per Section 4912A of the Delaware Medical Marijuana Act, a medical marijuana cardholder must report the loss of their Registry ID card to the Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) within 10 days of becoming aware of the loss. A report must also be made to the DHSS if the name or address of the patient has changed. A medical marijuana cardholder who fails to notify the DHSS of an MMJ card loss or a name or address change is subject to a civil infraction that may be punished by a fine of up to $150.
